Mila Kunis Bio

 Mila Kunis was born Milena Kunis in Chernivtsi (Ukraine) on August 14, 1983. Kunis, then seven years old, immigrated to America along with her parents Elvira und Mark Kunis. Then, she settled in Los Angeles. The Kunis family had only $250 to their name when they arrived in their new country. Kunis and her parents, both of whom gave up their professional jobs to relocate to a better location for their children and were determined to create a better life for their children. Mark who was an engineer who retired was able to get employment as a taxi driver. Elvira who had studied physics in Ukraine was pharmacist. Kunis stated, "I didn’t understand the American culture" when he first arrived in the United States. I didn't get the American culture. I couldn't comprehend the language. My first sentence in my essay to apply for college was "Imagine you're blind and deaf at age seven." It was a very similar experience to the feeling of moving to the States. But it was not an easy change. Milena Markovna Kunis is the daughter of Mark Kunis (Ukraine) and Elvira (Chenivtsi), Ukraine. She was born on the 14th of August, 1983. Her elder brother is also hers. Her mother works as a pharmacist and a physics teacher. Her father is mechanical engineer professional. He doubles up as a taxi driver. When she was 7 years old, old, her family moved to Los Angeles. Rosewood Elementary was where she went to school. When she was nine years old, she began acting classes. After being a part of commercials and being given her first television role in the show 'Daily Days of Our Lives', 1994. In 1998, she was offered her first big role as 'Jackie Burkhart in the popular sitcom "That '70s" show'.After rave reviews for her performance as 'Jackie' she was cast in the character of 'Meg' Griffin' on the animated sitcom "Family Guy".
