Tracy Spiridakos

Tracy Spiridakos is a Canadian actor from Canada. She was the Teletoon child's show Majority Rules' Becky Richards. from 2009-2010. In the following year, she was a part of Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson in the NBC post-apocalyptic sci-fi series Revolution between 2012 and 2014, for which she was nominated for from 2009-2010 for a Saturn Award for Best Actress on TV. Annika Johnson was the character Annika in the A&E television series Bates Motel. Spiridakos starred as Detective Hailey Upton in the TV drama of A&E, Bates Motel. playing the role of Detective Hailey Upton. Spiridakos was the daughter of restaurant owner George Spiridakos and George Spiridakos, who both were born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She has two brothers. The family moved to Skala in Greece, south-of Sparta within a short time after her birth. In 1992 the family came back to Canada. She is strongly linked to her Greek heritageand speaks fluent Greek. Spiridakos began acting at the age of junior high school. Later, she studied at the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. In 2000, she graduated from Oak Park High School. Spiridakos moved to Vancouver in 2007 to pursue acting. She landed her first TV role within weeks, a small part with Supernatural. The actress worked on television for another few years, landing roles in Psych, The L Word, Hellcats and Bionic Woman. Spiridakos was featured in the TV movie Goblin as well as the web-based series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. She was also a regular on Being Human, as Brynn McLean as the werewolf. In 2009, she was awarded her first role as a starring character in Majority Rules! Canada, in which she played 15-year-old Becky Richards. Her feature film debut was in 2011 with Rise of the Planet of the Apes. In Kill for Me, she appeared alongside Katie Cassidy and Donal Logue. Spiridakos played Sammi in Rags in Rags, a Nickelodeon original film. Spiridakos was then offered the part of the lead in Revolution as Charlotte Matheson (survivor of the dystopian future), on NBC television. She was a candidate for the role while attending her first pilot season in Los Angeles. Spiridakos produced the pilot in Atlanta, and filmed the first season in Wilmington, North Carolina. The actress was nominated for an Saturn Award for Best Actress on television for her performance in the first season, losing out to Anna Torv from Fringe's. For the second season, production was moved to Austin Texas.
