Emily Swallow

American actor Emily Swallow was born December 18 1979. Her most famous work is her role as Kim Fischer on The Mentalist and as Amara / the Darkness in the 11th season of Supernatural. She was also the Armorer in Star Wars' live-action series The Mandalorian. Emily played an unimportant role in The Last of Us Part II. Swallow was born on the 18th of December, 1979, in Washington, D.C. She grew up in Sterling, Virginia and Jacksonville, Florida. Swallow began her acting career at Stanton College Preparatory School. She also performed in professional and amateur theatre productions. Swallow graduated from Stanton College Preparatory School in the city of Jacksonville in 2001, with the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Middle Eastern Studies. She then continued her studies for an MFA in Acting at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. In 2008 she made her film debut in The Lucky Ones, a military-themed drama. She performed in the world premieres of Donald Margulies' play The Country House at Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse, opposite Mark Rylance in Louis Jenkins the production of Nice Fish at the Guthrie Theatre, and also in John Patrick Shanley's musical Romantic Poetry at Manhattan Theater Club. [citation needed] In 2010 she won the Falstaff Award as best female performer for her role in The Taming of the Shrew. She also performed with Jac Huberman in Jac N Swallow's musical Romantic Poetry at the Manhattan Theatre Club. The show is about their hilarious misadventures when they face various life situations.
