2 Chainz Biography

Tauheed Epps is an American hip-hop and rapper who is more popularly known by the name of 2 Chainz. He is an Georgia native, and created the hip-hop group Playaz Circle with a friend from high school. The group's debut album, 'Supply and Demand It was not a huge success. Epps released his album 'Based on the T.R.U. Story', his debut studio album. It reached the top spot on the US Billboard 200 and was an enormous success. Within the first week of release, it was sold out in 147,000 copies! He hasn't been back from the album's release and has since risen to become one of the most admired American rappers. He's been nominated for six Grammy Awards, the most recent of them was for his hit song "No Problem". When he was discovered to have marijuana and promethazine inside his luggage, he was escorted off a plane at Los Angeles International Airport. This led to controversy. The incident did not hinder his popularity. The latest album of his studiocalled "Pretty Girls Like Trap music', was released in June of 2017. "Based on the T.R.U." Story', 2 Chainz' debut studio album, is his debut major album and also his most profitable. The album was an enormous hit and climbed to the top spot on the US Billboard 200. The album was also sold out within a few weeks. The album sold 623,000 copies during the period of the year. It was nominated for the 55th Grammy Awards for 'Best Rap Album'. Most reviews were positive. 2 Chainz wed Kesha Ward in 2013. The couple has three kids: Heaven, Harmony and Halo. He's not just an extremely accomplished professional, but he's known for his brushes with the law. Numerous times, he's been detained for possession of drugs.
